Summary of responsibilities :

As a technical advisor, you will act as a customer service representative for the service department and will be responsible for the smooth running of the work requested by the customer as well as customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities of the technical advisor :

• Answer customers on the phone and at the service counter;
  
• Take and schedule appointment requests;
  
• Carry out assembly, write and send repair estimates to customers;
  
• Take calls for breakdowns on the road and plan the necessary repairs;
  
• Initiate work orders to the system with the requests received;
  
• Plan the work to be carried out with the workshop;
  
• Validate the history of the work carried out and the applicable guarantees before approving them;
  
• Punctually follow up with customers and suppliers on the progress of the work;
  
• Plan and monitor supplier work resulting from workshop work;
  
• Plan vehicle movements to suppliers;
  
• Proceed with requests for estimates and approve repairs submitted by suppliers;
  
• Issue customer invoices; and customer invoice payment transactions (account or credit card)
  
• Carry out the reconciliation of supplier invoices against the estimates received and enter the information into the system
  

Skills sought :

• Essential: DEP in technical advice or at least 1 year of experience as technical advisor
